For one of our customers in the automotive sector, we are looking for a Hardware PCB Designer to work on site in India.
Tasks: Analysis of PCB requirements. Implementation with regard to the design (high current design in the low voltage range).
Skills: At least 5 years of experience in PCB design. Knowledge of PCB standards (IPC, ...) and their implementation in design. Experience in high current design (up to 180A) in the low voltage range (12V vehicle electrical system) with up to 6 layers. Knowledge/experience in the following work products: Definition of layer structure and placement (EMC compliant) of components. Multilayer PCB routing of up to 1500 components, taking into account all requirements (component, standards, ...). Generation of production-relevant data (Gerber, ODB++, assembly plans, PCB DFMEA). Support in PCB-related simulations and analyses (current carrying capacity, heating, signal integrity, impedance matching, ...). Tools: Siemens Xpedition Layout VX2.14 or similar / Siemens DxDesigner / PCAD.
