E&I Site Preservation Manager (m/f/d) |
vom 05.08.2025
We invite you to join an ambitious project in Tarragona, where we're constructing a state-of-the-art facility for the production of industrial gases. This role is your chance to lead efforts on a massive project involving superstructures for methane and ethylene production, set to be transported to the United States. Responsibilities: Take ownership of all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) preservation activities throughout the site. Ensure that all E&I systems and components (e.g., control panels, cable trays, field instruments, sensors) are properly protected from moisture, dust, corrosion, and vibration during storage, installation, and transportation. Safeguard the operational integrity of transmitters, actuators, valves, relays, and signal cables during extended idle periods or cross-continental shipment. Ensure that connections are sealed, covers and protective elements are installed, and environmental controls such as dehumidification are applied where required. Conduct regular field inspections and ensure the correct use of preservation IT tools (e.g., CMS preservation modules) to monitor and document E&I conditions. Review and approve E&I preservation method statements submitted by contractors and ensure implementation of vendor-specific requirements, particularly for critical and sensitive equipment. Verify compliance with manufacturer warranties and statutory preservation obligations for electronic devices and calibrated field equipment. Coordinate preservation interfaces with stakeholders such as construction, commissioning, quality, and materials management. Act as the key contact for E&I preservation issues on site and promote best practices to ensure smooth handover into commissioning. Ensure the resolution of punch points and non-conformities relating to E&I preservation. Maintain and update preservation reports and contribute to lessons learned for future module projects. Promote a strong HSE culture throughout all preservation-related activities. Requirements: Degree in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation or a comparable technical discipline. Several years of on-site experience in E&I preservation, commissioning, quality, or instrumentation-related roles. Solid knowledge of best practices for the preservation of electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial construction environments. Hands-on experience with preservation documentation tools and CMS-based tracking systems. Strong communication and coordination skills in an international, interdisciplinary site environment. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with high attention to technical detail and compliance. Project Location: Tarragona, Spain. Start Date: As soon as possible. Duration: Minimum 12 months, with possibility of extension. Workload: 56 hours per week, 6 days per week. Kontaktadresse |
