Lead the design and implementation of global VAT and indirect tax processes within an international SAP S/4HANA rollout. Act as the key advisor for tax-related SAP topics, ensuring compliance while supporting business transformation objectives. Define and harmonize VAT processes, tax determination logic, and compliance requirements across multiple countries and business units. Partner with Finance, Tax, IT, and external stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable SAP solutions. Support the implementation and adoption of tax-related functionality, including e-Invoicing and digital reporting requirements, where applicable. Drive process standardization and ensure global alignment while balancing local compliance needs. Provide expert guidance during testing, rollout, deployment, and hypercare phase.
Skills: Extensive experience in SAP FI within international SAP transformation or rollout programs. Strong expertise in global VAT, indirect tax, and compliance processes across multinational environments. Proven track record designing and implementing tax solutions within SAP S/4HANA. Ability to bridge the gap between Finance, Tax, and IT stakeholders, translating regulatory requirements into practical SAP solutions. Experience supporting global template design, deployment, adoption, and governance activities. Professional fluency in English. Experience with e-Invoicing, digital reporting, or electronic compliance initiatives. Background as a SAP Tax Solution Architect, SAP DRC Consultant, or SAP FI/CO Lead. Knowledge of SAP Document & Reporting Compliance (DRC). Experience in multinational manufacturing or industrial environments. German proficiency.
