We are looking to add support for the Film Technician and Facilities teams, assisting students and team members with equipment bookings as well as providing technical support for classes, workshops and events.
Tasks: Providing shift cover in the Film Tech office (including Saturdays). Responding to student and team member needs in person and via email. Inspecting the condition of technical equipment. Operating the booking software. Providing as-needed support for Facilities projects.
Requirements: This is a student-facing role, which requires patience and understanding to help our students come to solutions to their technical issues, sometimes in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable working as support to an existing team and respond well to productive feedback. You should also have some technical knowledge of camera, sound and lighting equipment, as well as a fairly practical mindset to keep our booking system running smoothly and up to date. Our working language is English, so you should be confident in written and spoken English.
