You will play a pivotal role in testing our mobile POS applications for Android and iOS. You will focus on elevating service quality and ensuring seamless functionality. The mobile applications interact with a variety of hardware components, such as barcode scanners, receipt printers, and card payment terminals.
Tasks: Architect, develop, and maintain test automation using Sauce Labs, primarily with TypeScript. Design and maintain test plans for existing and new application features, and integrate them with Xray and Jira. Execute, maintain, and improve test cases in Xray, and enhance their integration into workflows. Test setups that include peripheral hardware such as card payment terminals, receipt printers, and barcode scanners. Test inter-device communication between multiple in-house applications, such as customer-facing displays or helper applications for gastronomy. Develop and maintain cross-team test scenarios, including API communication and database operations. Leverage AI Tools: Actively use and adapt AI tools in daily QA tasks, exploring innovative solutions and maintaining a curiosity-driven approach. Collaborate with developers and product owners to achieve optimal test coverage, focus on E2E multiplatform testing coverage but also system tests that reach a realistic experience of the customers & merchants. Engage in code reviews to uphold coding standards and improve overall code quality. Conduct Multi-Environment Testing: Execute tests across various environments to ensure robustness and compatibility.
