Tasks: Responsible for the setup, operation and maintenance of our on-site printers to produce high-quality printing materials. Monitoring the ongoing printing process for color accuracy, sharpness and defects. Preparing print files and coordinate orders with our international partner printhouses (as support to our inhouse printing). Partly coordinating with our client and our design department (for example to exchange artwork). Image editing/creating print-ready files in illustrator, then also actual printing (Caldera Software, HP Latex 365 printers). Exchanging vinyl roles, color checking/matching of our own prints and external orders. Cutting stickers (mainly in the night so that the team has vinyl to install in the mornings). Collaborating with project managers to meet specifications. Troubleshooting and resolving on-site issues. Adhere to industry standard safety practices. Operate all tool and equipment according to specified safety requirements. Help unload and store materials and tools; clean and maintain storage areas.
Requirements: Adobe illustrator skills and ideally experience with Caldera are required. Experiance as a media technologist or have comparable technical experiance in digital printing. Strong technical understanding, a keen eye for color and detail, and proficiency in graphic design software. Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of an international team. Ability to work under pressure to output high volumne, high quality work. Willingness to shadow experienced printers to gain practical knowledge and skills. Flexibility and willingness travel for international projects. English skills are required.
