Lead enterprise DNS services and large-scale DNS migrations with high and critical traffic volumes. Engineer and operate enterprise DDI platforms (e.g. Infoblox, BlueCat) ensuring availability, scalability, and compliance. Manage hybrid DNS architectures across on-prem and cloud platforms (AWS Route53, Azure DNS, Cloudflare). Automate DDI workflows using Ansible, Python, and APIs for provisioning, cleanup, and compliance. Troubleshoot complex DNS/DHCP/IPAM incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes. Drive DNS security and compliance initiatives (DNSSEC, RPZ, access control, audit logging). Collaborate with Cloud, Network, and Security teams on resilient hybrid DDI designs. Implement monitoring and CI/CD pipelines for DNS health and automation validation. Maintain documentation and runbooks to ensure operational excellence. Train and support operations teams on DDI and Infoblox technologies. Act as solution architect for complex DDI implementations across cross-functional teams.
Requirements: Several years of hands-on experience in DDI engineering and operations. Strong expertise in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM concepts, protocols, and architectures. Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting DDI solutions (Infoblox, BlueCat, Microsoft). Proven experience managing DNS zones, DHCP scopes, IPAM structures, and DNS migrations. Solid background in incident, problem, and change management in enterprise environments. Experience working in Agile environments (stand-ups, sprint planning, user stories). Large-scale DNS service and platform migrations in high-traffic enterprise environments desirable. Experience with cloud-based DDI and DNS services such as AWS and Azure advantageous. Hands-on experience with DNS security and resolution policies beneficial. Experience designing and implementing NTP solutions optional. Integration of DDI platforms with network monitoring and management tools is an advantage. Advanced networking knowledge (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, NAT, ARP) is a plus. Automation using public APIs and scripting highly valued. Experience in hospitality or similarly large distributed environments is a plus.
